OIKO.POLI.S gave information to the members of Chaidari's three Open Seniors Protection Centers (K.A.P.I.).

On the 17th, 18th, and 19th of June, OIKO.POLI.S members, in the frame of the Erasmus READY4DISasters project, organized activities for the awareness of Elderly people in cooperation with the Municipality of Chaidari and presented the goals of the project. They gave information to the members of Chaidari's three Open Seniors Protection Centers (K.A.P.I.). They briefed and trained the staff and the members on civil protection issues. Discussion and exchange of experience followed. The Head of Civil Protection of the Municipality and the Deputy Mayor of Civil Protection of Chaidari stressed all the necessary fire safety measures to be taken during the summer to protect the mountainous volumes of the area. The Municipality of Chaidari expressed their wish for further cooperation and greater awareness of the project's products.
